MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE.

A well attended meeting of the Management Committee of the Canterbury Football Associaton was held last evening, Mr R. English presiding. The suggestion, earned at last meeting, to issue passes to players, for. admission to English Park, was discussed, and it was decided to rescind the resolution, it being considered unsatisfactory. A letter was received from the secretary of the Nomads Club regarding an act of the referee at the match played on Saturday at English Park, between Linwood and Nomads.

The referee reported having ordered l\vo of the Nomad players off the field for not adhering to the rules of the game and for the use of obseene language. The matter was discussed in commit lee. The,chairman afterwards reported that it had been decided to suspend one of the players for a month. The other case had been dismissed with a caution to the player. A letter was received from the Western Football Club re the playing of schoolboys in third grade matches on Saturdays as well as on Wednesdays. It was decided that any schoolboy

playing in school competitions should be free lo play in any match he might wish 10. A protest was read from the St. Albans Club regarding the ground at Sumner on which the match, St. Albans v. Sumner, was played on Saturday. The St. Albans Club contended that the ground was insufficient in length and that the goal posts were not wide enough. The matter was referred to the Sumner Club.
