The New Zealand Farmers' Co-op. will hold a clearing sale on Messrs Smith Bros.' property, at Okuku (Loburn) on Friday next. The Malvern County Council notilies its intention to strike a general rate. In connection with the Yaldhurst Patriotic League, the horse raffle will be drawn on Friday evening. The draws in several art unions of the Soldiers' Queen Fund have been postponed until June 15. The District Land Begistrar advertises that several parcels of land are to be brought under the provisions of the Land Transfer Act. Eyre County Council invites applications for the position of clerk and surveyor. Applications are invited for the position of vineyard overseer at Arataki Horticultural Station. Tenders are invited for the supply of coal and blankets for the Coal and Blanket Fund.
