prcscnlalivcs of all Ihe colleges but Auckland desired the Senate to agree to a joint committee to arrive at an agreement as to the interpretation of certain clauses, and to produce something in the nature of standing orders: also to discuss allied questions. The Senate decided to let (lie recommendations lie on Ihe table till the next annual meeting.
