The ('hristc)uirch City Couucil lias decided to extend to all females and youths in its employ the bonus of 10 per cent., which it recently agreed to give, during the period of the war, to all adult male employees earning less than £:! a week. It was reported last evening by the By-laws and Finance Committee, to which the question was referred, that the bonuses for females and youths will aggregate about £125 per annum. The -committee reported also —and its action was confirmed—that it had given instructions that council employees who have joined the Expeditionary Forces are also to receive the bonus.
