"It is most amazing the way in which some hotelkeepers will cash cheques for people they don't know and signed by people they don't know," commented his Honour Mr Justice Sim, in the Supreme Court this afternoon, when application was made for payment of monev, found on a prisoner, to a hotelkeeper who had cashed a forged cheque. "They certainly deserve to lose their money. - ' His Honour declined to make the order, adding that the hotelkeeper would have to liear the loss.
