SUPREME COURT.
WELLINGTON SESSIONS. Press Association. WELLINGTON, May 8. The criminal sessions of the Supreme Court opened to-day before his Honour the Chief Justice (Sir Robert Stout). There were 11 charges, against 13 persons. His Honour, addressing the Grand Jury, said that the most serious case was one of attempted murder and attempted suicide. If the victim died as a result of the injuries within 12 months the charge would be one of murder. , Frederick Watson, against whom the jury found a true bill, was found guilty of theft of £'B from the person. Sentence was deferred.
