GERMANY BUYS A MINE. (Received May 8, 10.5 a.m.) AMSTERDAM, May 7. Advices from Gothenburg state that a German company has bought the King Carl XV. copper mine at Jonkoping. [Jonkoping is a Swedish town, 80 miles cast of Gothenburg, with which it is connected by rail. It is noted for the manufacture of matches, and has also paper mills, machine shops, and textile manufac tories. It has a population of nearly .'50,000. |
