ST. ALBANS SCHOOL. ! .VI the St. Albans School yesterday, Mr i ]•',. H. Andrews (chairman) presented the j prizes won at the swimming sports. Mr : Andrews complimented the school on the • success of the past swimming season, and i said he hoped the time would soon come 1 when swimming ami life saving would he ; made compulsory in all schools. He also j expressed the gratitude fell towards Mr I Bcanlaud. an ex-member of the committee, for his generosity, in presenting for several ! past years medals for the winners of the learners' races at the sports. Certificates of merit were handed to Florence Faulkner and Clarice Perkis for bread making at the Industrial Inhibition.
