An official communique says:— "Our naval "airships, on Tuesday night, bombed factories and smelting furnaces and the railways at Middlesbrough, Stockton, and Sunderland, the fortifications at Hartlepool, and British warships in the Fjrth of Forth. "All the airships returned safely except LZ.2O, which was driven to earth at Stavanger by a strong wind. The entire crew were rescued." LONDON, May 5. Commenting on the German communique, the Press Bureau says the enemy's claims are "exaggerations and misstatements of the usual kind."
