An expected arrival at Lyttelton to-morrow la the steamer Toromeo, from New York, ■via Durban and Melbourne with a full cargo of general, consigned to Lyttelton, Duuedin, and Australian ports. The Toromeo is one of the many ex-German vessels, and was formerly known as the Tiberius and under that name visited Australia on many occasions. The New Zealand Shipping Co.'s steamer Waimate is due at Lyttelton on Wednesday next from Montreal, via Australian and North Island ports. The vessel has a quantity of cargo to discharge here and will sail about Wednesday next for Dunediu to complete. The local agents of the Shaw Savill Line, have be<'ii advised that the steamer Delphic arrived at Loudon on Thursday from Wellington.

The steamer Petonc, which left I.yttclton on Tlnirsility evening for Greymouth, will load timber there lor Melbourne. Her new owners (die Austral Guano Co.. of New !
