HOME MEAT MARKET. I Messrs Weddi'l and Co., London, report :is follows for the week ending November 18, 1015: Trade Ims been quiet at Sniitlifleld for all descriptions of frozen meat. Reef values are steady, but mutton and iambs arc both a shade easier. Mutton.—Prime Canterbury sheep arc now offered at GJd to 7Jd per lb; best North Island carcases are very short and nominally quoted at to 7d per lb. Ewes are selling at per lb for all weights. Australian wethers are in short supply, the few on offer realising s}d to 51d per lb. South Amcriian mutton is quoted at 5Jd to Gjd per lb, according to quality. Lamb.—Canterbury lambs are distinctly weaker, and buyers are only operating from '•hand to mouth." Under "61b carcases are not now worth more than 7Jd per lb, and the 3fi/i2lb 7;d per lb.
