OUR CHRISTMAS ISSUE.

OUT TO-MORROW.

SPECIAL STORIES AND SATURDAY FEATURES.

To-morrow's issue of THE STJN will contain a special Christmas supplement, most of the literary matter being contributed by local writers and members of THE SUN staff. Elinor Kent contributes a story, "Lantern Rock, 1915," which makes a quiet appeal to the sense of duty of the middle-aged man who tries to convince himself that his business is his most important duty; and besides the work of local writers there is a fine story by John Buchan, entitled "The King of Ypres." There are also special features —stories and humorous drawings, for the entertainment and amusement of the children, and various other sections designed to appeal to all tastes. The usual Saturday features will necessarily be incorporated in this issue, and, in addition, the review of books and literary gossip which usually appears on Thursday will also appear'in the Christmas issue. We have no doubt of the quality of the matter offered for Christmas reading, and there is plenty of it, so that we expect with confidence that by their enjoyment of this special issue our readers will endorse our judgment.
