British airmen are reported to have destroyed Krupp's new munition factory at Constantinople. . A German military expert, in an outspoken article, admits that Germany has abandoned all her illusions, and knows she is engaged in a struggle for life or death. America has sent another Note to Austria, firmly insisting on compliance with her recent demands concerning the sinking of the Ancona.
To-day's cables also contain further comment on the evacuation of Anzac and Suvla.
It is reported that the Russians have taken Varna, a Bulgarian port on the Black Sea, their naval bombardment having reduced the town to ruins.
