UNITED WAR DIRECTION.

It is obvious that only by full and free consultation can a comprehensive plan be worked out for bringing the united pressure of the Allies to bear on the enemy over all the vast areas of front on which the war is now 7 raging. The amount of stall' work to be done before the operations involved in carrying out a unified plan of action on many hundreds of miles of front held by several millions of men can be effectively correlated makes the brain dizzy to think of.
