The Defence authorities announce that it is intended, on arrival of hospital ships or transports, in New Zealand, that the invalids on board shall have clothing issued to them, so that each man will have the following articles of clothing when leaving the troopship: —Tunics 2, trousers 2, puttees (pairs) 2, boots (pairs) 2, hat and puggaree 1, cap 1, greatcoat 1, shirts 2, singlets 2, underpants 2, socks (pairs), 2, kitbag 1. Mounted men Avill be issued one pair of riding pants in lieu of one pair of trousers. In the making up of the above lists, the clothing, etc., a man possesses on arrival in the Dominion "will bo taken into account.
