The Riverina left Sydney December 2; due Auckland December <i; leaves Auckland December 7; due back Sydney December 11. NOTES. The locally-owned schooner Aiatapu is now almost clear of her cargo of timber from Kaipara. Owing to the mill at Kaipara having been destroyed by lire, the vessel will sail for Greymouth this trip about Wednesday next with a cargo of produce. Jt was arranged some days-ago that the R.M.S. Maitai should conic on to Lyttelton to-day for the purpose of being docked for cleaning and painting. That arrangement is now off and the vessel will not call here, but will leave Wellington on Thursday next for San Francisco, via Raratonga and Papeete. She is due at 'Frisco on December 29, sailing again on January 5 for Wellington, where she is due again on January 27. For the third week in succession there will be no late boat to-night for Auckland via Wellington, Napier, ami Gisbornc. The Wcstralia has a large amount of caigo to work at Dunedin from Melbourne and the vessel will not leave here until Monday night. The coasting Wakatu is due at Lyttelton. to-night from Kaikoura and leaves on the return trip to-morrow night for Wellington, via Kaikoura. Monday will probably be the final day of the Carnegie's stay at Lyttelton for some little time. The vessel, is expected to leave here on that day for southern latitudes, for the purpose of circumnavigating the globe in 60 deg. south latitude and will then return to Lyttelton about April or' May next. The Union Co.'s Kini was floated into dock at Lyttelton this morning, for the purpose of being surveyed jhi the bottom and to undergo cleaning and painting. The vessel wil be brought oat to-night, and will sail for Wcstport.
