LICENSING COMMITTEE.
CHRISTCHURCH. A quarterly meeting of the Christchurch Licensing Committee was held this morning, when there were present: Messrs H. W. Bishop, S.M. (chairman), C. E. Salter, J. Petherick, K. Matheson, and Dr H. T. J. Thacker, M.P. The following transfers were confirmed:— His Lordship's Hotel from Margaret Lahman to Edward Cuthbert McCullough; Rotlierfield Hotel from James Geddes to Edmund Lionel Barnes.
The question of the confirmation 'of the temporary transfer of the license of the Wellington Hotel from Thomas Henry Cahill to Frederick Peltham was adjourned till December 13.
