LOBURN SPORTS CLUB.
The annual meeting of the Loburn Sports Club was held in the Coronation Hall on Monday, Mr R. Mcintosh presiding. *
The treasurer reported a credit balance of £4 14/-. It was decided to hold the annual sports gathering on the Loburn Domain on' Boxing Day, and to devote the net proceeds to the! Serbian Relief Fund. The following officers were elected:— President, Mr R. Mcintosh; secretary, Mr R. If. Bailey; assistant-secretary, Mr E. S. Chambers; treasurer, Mr .3. R. Wilkinson; patrons, Messrs G. W. Forbes, M.P., Hugh Ensor, C. H. Elisor, J. If. Ensor, If. Brown, E. B. Millton, J. McCracken, J. O'Halloran, R. Parish, W. Berry, C. Feary, R. J'udson, L. Blunden, A. R. Kilian, Cr. W. Rudd, 0. Gudex, A. W. Steele, Win. Mackintosh, L. G.'Austin, E. Philpott, R. Hutcherson, Simpkinson; programme committee, president, secretary, and Messrs JTaigh, Dawson, Carboy; haiidicappers, Messrs Warner, J. F. Croft, Chambers; starter, Mr T. Pulley; judges, Messrs A. E. Cook and R. Mcintosh. Mr T. Dawson was appointed to receive entries. It was decided to canvass the district for produce to be sold by auction at the sports meeting, in aid of the i fund.
