A FISHERMAN'S FATE.
PARTNER CHARGED WITH MURDER. By Cable. — Press Association. — Copyright. (Received October 23, 8.45 a.m.) SYDNEY, Octpber 23. Last month the body of a fisherman named William Parcell was found in the Camdenhaven River, roped to a anchor, and bearing indications of ill-treatment. Deceased's mate, James Piper, has been committed for trial on a charge of murder. Evidence showed that at the end of August their neighbours heard quarrelling in Piper's shed. Parcell was not seen again, and Piper explained that he had left the district.
