THE DOYLEjSTON CLUB. The. balance .sheet which was presented to the annual meeting of the Dovleston Athletic Club on Monday evening showed a credit balance of £7B 1/8. • Officers were elected as follow: —Patron, Colonel It. Heaton Rhodes, M.P.; president, Mr W. 0. Rennie; vice-presi-dents, 35 were elected; liandicappers, Messrs W. O. Rennie, J. Robb, W. Nelson, H. Gardener, M. Kelly, and G. Cooke; starter, Mr ,T. Robb; judges, Messrs G. Osborne, Bowley, J. Scott, F. J. Lemon, and R. T. McMillan; timekeepers, "Messrs J. Eennie, J. Fussell, and J. Quigley; lapkeepers, G. o and F. Quigley; bellman, •Mr W. O'Boyle; blackboard steward, Mr G. Wliitworth; Children's Committee, Mesdames Quigley, Whitworth, and W. McLaclilan, Messrs J. Pearce, A. Warner, and E. G. Davison; General Committee, Messrs G. Cooke, J. Robb, J. Stapleton, W: Oliver, T. Ilabberjaih, W. O'Boyle, W. G. Ilibberd, M. Kelly, M. M?n\y S. Greenan, F. Quigley, F.. Lemon, W. McLachlan, H. Donaldson, T. Maw, H. Gardiner, W. It was decided that sports should be held, as usual, on Boxing Day, but the proceeds should be handed over to the Red Cross Fund. The meeting decided that no road race should be held this year. Mr S. J. Irwin was accorded a very hearty vote of thanks for his services during the past two years.
