A BUSHMAN'S DEATH. Press Association. TAIHAPE, August 16. A bushman named Prank Gray, married, with three children, slipped on the train line, and was run over by a truck ■- ofvlogs at Berg Bros.' sawmill at Horo/pito, on Saturday morning. He sustained serious injuries, and was taken to the Taihape Hospital, where he succumbed on Saturday afternoon. LITTLE BOY DROWNED. GOEE, August 16. Stanley Paterson, aged nine years (son of John Paterson, recently a ploughman on the Knapdale Estate), > was drowned in the Waikaka Eiver, opposite East Gore, yesterday afternoon. "With his brother, he was driving geese out of the river, and the deceased's cap fell into the water. The boy, over-reaching himself, fell in and was drowned. At the inquest a verdict of accidental drowning was returned.
