ELEYEN LIVES LOST. _ .. ■■ ' \ SUBMARINES ALSO -SINK ANOTHER SHIP. (Received August 3, 1.40 p.m.) LONDON, August 2. The British steamer Benboirlich - ' Jias been sunk. The chief officer and f 16 of the crew have landed. < The captain and the remainder of ; thp crew left the ship in another / bdat. The liner Clintonia, with a Lascar crew, .has been sunk. Fifty-four were rescued, but 11 ..perished. ' The Clintonia was one of the ships of the Stag Line, Ltd. Her tonnage was 3830, and »tae was built at Sunderland in 1907. 'Lloyd's Register does riot contain any ship : named Benboirlich.
