Mr Aimes, purser of the Maori, went ashore at Wellington yesterday, and has been relieved by Mr Williams. ! The Shaw, Saviil liner Tainui, from London, arrived at Hobart yesterday. The vessel will sail to-day in continuation of her voyage, and is due at Wellington on Sunday next, and at Lyttelton about August;"). It is reported that the auxiliary schooner Elsie Alary (ex Amelia Sims) has been purchased by Mr J. B. Way, of Cliristchurch, to replace the ill-fated schooner Eliza Firth, which grounded at Kaipara Heads sonic time ago, when outward-bound with a full cargo of timber for Lyttelton. The Uni6u Company's Manuka,, which is due at Lyttelton to-morrow from Hobart and Sydney, via Wellington, is'brhiging the following tx-anshipments for this port 22 bags almonds, 10 cases merchandise, 11 bags coffee, 3 cases curios, 3 cases felt hats, 4 rolls mats, 10 cases cotton goods, 12 cases metalware, 20 bags peanuts, 3 cases toys, 0 cases silk goods, G cases porcelain, 2 cases baskets, 60 cases pulp boards, 4 cases cotton crepe, and a large quantity of sundries ex steamers Orontes, Cooma, Berwick Law, Sliirala, Tonga Maru, St. Albans, and Atna. The vessel will sail to-morrow night for Sydney and Hobart, via Wellington. An expected arrival at Lyttelton-to-mor-row is the Union Company's Kauri, with a j full load of coal for this port.
