A poll in connection with the HillMorten loan will be taken at the corner of Lincoln and Torrens Roads to-mor-row, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. The city returning officer notifies that there will be no polling booth at the corner of Charles Street and Osborne Street, Linwood, as previously notified* Instead there will. be a booth at the corner of Charles Street and Grafton Street. Mr E. Peek, candidate for the Sydenham Ward of the City Council, will address the electors this evening at Dickens Street at '7.15, Church Square at 8, Burke and Antigua Streets at 8.40, and Buffton and Thackeray Streets at 9.15.
The Minister of Internal Affairs has granted, the Sumner Rowing Club permission to withdraw its art union. Purchasers of tickets can obtain a refund in full within three months from date, after which all unclaimed money will bo handed to charity.
