FOOTBALL.
At the annual meeting of the Hanmcr Springs Football Club the following officers were elected: —President, Mr Godfrey Rutherford; vice-presi-dents, Messrs J']. R. Turton, A. P. Smith, J. Podds, J. Ashton, E. 11. Whitmore, D. Leishman, and J. E. Scott, and Dr Campbell Duncan; captain, Mr T. M. Sullivan; vice-captain, Mr C McKay; secretary and treasurer, Mr W. G. Morrison; committee, Messrs .1. Nicholson and J. Tregerthcn. A challenge from the Waiau Club was received and accepted, tho match to be played on May 8 r at Hanracr Springs.
