THE CONCLUSION. FAT SHEEP. The entry of fat sheep was comparatively small, and consisted chiefly of ewes. In common with all other classes of fat stock, a rise in price was experienced, values going up by about 2/- per head. On occasions sheep sold somewhat irregularly. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., sold:—On account clients, 26 s.m. ewes 15/-, 164 two-tooth ewes 17/3. STORE PIG'S. Store pigs were in large supply,, all descriptions being penned, including a number of very useful sorts. The demand, no doubt as a result of the extremely high prices ruling for grain and offal, was weak, and sales could be made only at relatively low prices. Quotations are: — "Best stores, 26/- to 30/-. Medium stores, 20/- to 25/-, Small stores, 12/- to 17/6. Weaners, 3/- to 6/-, extra good to 8/-. Sows in pig, 25/- to 30/-.
