In the civil jurisdiction of the .Magistrate's Court yesterday afternoon, before Mr 11. W. Bishop, S.M., the case in which Brown. Bros., electrical engineers (Mr E. T. Harper) sued Ceorge 11. C. Clifford and others (Mr Anthony) for £124 5/11, extra work done in installing a vigilant lire alarm system in the new (Jovernment Buildings at Christchurch, was continued. Expert evidence in regard to the character and cost of the extra work done was not completed when the Court adjourned, and the hearing of the case will be continued on Mondav.
