SUDDEN DEATH AT RICCARTON.
THE INQUEST. At 6.30 this morning the death occurred at 21, Edinburgh Street, Riccarton, of Mrs-Alice Jane Fisher, aged' 57 years. An inquest into the circumstances surrounding the death was held at 2.30 this afterrioon, before Mr H. W. Bishbp, District Coroner. John Henry Fisher, husband of the deceased, stated that his wife's health had been generally very good. This morning, however, she had complained of feeling faint, and had suddenly .collapsed and died. Dr Ethel Sands gave evidence in which she stated that she had been attending deceased for about a year. Her health had been fairly good, and there had been nothing to indicate that death would be sudden. Death had been due to cardiac syncope. The coroner returned a verdict accordingly.
