The boys' expositions held in the Boys' Gordon Hall, Christchurch, in 1912 and 1913 were so successful that another is to he held on the same general jplan, from August 3 to 8. Every boy who can make anything is invited to send it in to let people see what boys can do. Collections of coins, stamps, and postcards will also be provided for, as well as many other things. The competitions will be open to any boy in Canterbury under the age of 19 years, but the competitors will be divided into two .grades, so that younger boys will not have to compete against those who are several years older. An entry fee of one shilling is charged, not for each article, but for each exhibitor. An exhibitor 's certificate will be issued on payment of entry fee, and this will allow the holder to exhibit as many different articles as he may wish, and will also serve as a pass admitting him to the exposition each evening.
