At the wool sales the following, prices were realised for the fleece portions of the New Zealand clips named: —Ditton top price 13M, average 113 d; Euatangata 103 d, 10§d; Ardkeen Hid, 10$ d; Kyeburn 15d, 12§d; Westdome 13d, 123 d; Poporangi 143 d, 12d; T. I. T. 133 d, 12d; Ngaio 133 d, 10£ d.

The Christchurch Stock Exchange received the following telegram yesterday from the Eeefton attorney for " the Consolidated Goldfields, Limited: —"Progress crushed 3470 tons, yielding 710oz, value £2925; cyanided 2400 tons, yielding 2390z, value £BOO. Estimated value sulphurets £696. Costs per ton —mining 14/1, milling 3/-, general expenses and bullion charges 1/7. Blackwater crushed 4283 tons, yielding 17050z, value £6914; cyanided 2507 tons, yielding 2250z, value £772, sulphurets £461. Costs per ton —Mining 15/4, milling 3/2, general expenses and bullion charges 2/6. Wealth of Nations crushed 2080 tons, yielding 6J560z, value £2675. Cyanided 1140 tons,' yielding 1320z, value £430; sulphurets £25. Costs per ton —Mining 12/7, milling 4/11, general expenses and bullion charges 1/7.
