She reports lhat a fire broke out in her fore-peak en April 30, and that it was extinguished after five hours. Only some stores were da:nageu. DURBAN, May 5. Tie Perthshire, when 640 miles south of Durban, sent a wireless message that she is returning, as her machinery is defective.
