BROWN BREAD AND FRUIT
CARE OF THE TEETH.

The London 'County Council has ascertained that there is a bigger proportion of bad teeth in the children of the well-to-do than of the poorer classes, because the poor eat coarser food aud fewer sweets, and those of boiled sugar only; They eat no caramels or chocolates, which cling to the teeth. The council urges the use of brown bread and fruits An apple eaten at the conclusion of a meal leaves the mouth physiologically clean.
