BLUE, GREEN, AND PINK.
NEW SHADES FOR FROCKS. , FASHIONS IN STONES. "Times" and "Sydney Sun" Services. (Received March 31, 8.30 a.m.) LONDON, March 30. In many shop windows there are exhibitions of rich colours in the coming styles. Day gowns are to be of dark blue taffetta, relieved with some brightly striped material; and colours resembling maroon glace are seemingly the most popular for evening wear. Also convolvulus blue, bright green, and vivid pink.. Jewellers report the mosl fashionable stones to be aquamarine, tourmaline, emerald, jade, cornelian, and pink quartz. There is an undoubted revival in ear-rings set with these stones. Brooches are seldom worn, and gold bangles have been superseded' by bangles of jade or other stone. Many rings are unfashionable. The opal is the supreme favourite, and black opals are greatly cherished.
