N.Z. SHIPPING COMPANY'S STEAMERS. The latest movements of the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamers are as follow: The Suffolk was expected to leave Waitara to day for Lyttelton. The Kaikoura, now at Napier, "will leave that port for Wellington to-morrow afternoon. The Cairnross arrived in Wellington early this morning, and will sail for London about Thursday next.

SHIPPING NOTES. The Star of Victoria, at present at Auckland, after calling at Napier, is due at Lyttelton about April 4. She loads Homeward cargo there, proceding thence to other ports to till up. Final departure for London will be taken from Wellington early in May. It is probable that the Star of Victoria, when she sails, • will take a record cargo of frozen meat from the Dominion. The on Tuesday evening, is due in London on April 10, having sailed from Wellington on February 26. ATHENIC, FROM LONDON. On Friday last the Shaw, Sarill liner Athenic arrived at Wellington from London, after an uneventful voyage. Captain J. E. Crossland, R.D., R.N.R., is still in command of the Athenic, and has with him the following officers:—Commander G. A. Alcock, R.D., R.N.R. (chief officer), in charge of deck department; Lieut.-cngineer Robt. Reid, R.N.R. (chief engineer), in charge of engine-depart-ment; Mr S. C. J.
