BOXING.
Local boxers and wrestlers met in large numbers last evening, when a meeting was held at F. A. Hornibrook 's Institute. A programme of athletic and boxing concerts was arranged for the coming winter, and it was unanimously decided that the total proceeds over and above actual should be handed over to the Summit Eoad Association for the improvement of the Hill track. The first contest is set down for April 4, when the chief attractions will be a wrestling match under catch-as-ean rules for the lightweight championship,. ■of Canterbury,.between J. Sloan and J. H.
