Sailed —Storm (10 a.m.), for Dunedin. SHIPPING' NOTES. • Early to-morrow morning the Union Company's steamer Manuka is due at Wellington from Sydney. She has on board 68 saloon and 48 steerage passengers for Wellington, arid also 361 tons of general cargo, including a small quantity of fruit. She is due at Lyttelton next Friday. Last Saturday the Union Company's steamer Waihora left Newcastle with a cargo of coal for Lyttelton and Wellington. According to cabled advice, the steamer Banffshire left Melbourne on Sunday for Wellington. She is due there next Friday to take the first loading in the new service to Boston and New York. To-day the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Orari leaves Lyttelton for Timaru for loading purposes. From Timaru she proceeds to Wellington, and will probably sail for London on. March 17. The Hawke's Bay is expected at Wellington'from W'anganui to-morrow, sailing thence to Napier and Lyttelton. She is due to leave Wellington for London about March 25. An arrival in Wellington on Sunday night was the Federal and Shire Line's steamer Surrey, from Liverpool, via Australian ports and Auckland. Yesterday morning the vessel berthed at the Taranaki Street Wharf, and commenced discharge of the local portion of her Home cargo. When this has been completed, she will proceed to Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff to put out the remainder. She subsequently loads at various ports for the West of England. A cable message from .Home announces the departure from London on Saturday last of the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company's R.M.S. Corinthic for Wellington, via Plymouth, Teneriffe, Cape Town and Hobart. The vessel is due to arrive in Wellington about April 23 and at Lyttelton about a week later. Some labour trouble at Whangarei has delayed loading operations on'the Shaw, Savill, and Albion. Company's steamer Waimana. She.is now expected at Wellington on Thursday next to complete loading, and should sail for London either on Saturday or Sunday next.
