THE U.R.C. CLUB.
The annual general meeting tlrti TJ.R.C. Hockey Club was held on Thursday evening, there being a fair attendance of members.
The following officers were elected for the ensuing year : —President, Mr F. D. Kesteven; vice-presidents, Messrs T. Chambers, J. Fry, and G. H. Hobbs; honorary auditor, Mr A. Poole; club captain, Mr T. Booth; honorary secretary and treasurer, Mr J. .B. . Adams; committee, Messrs It. Mann, I*. • Kincaid, A. George, R. Boag, and B. M. Adams;; selection committee, Messrs T. Booth, R. Parton, and R. Mann; delsgates to Canterbury Hockey Associa- " w tion, Messrs T. Booth and «r? E. Adam*.
The report and balance-sheet were read and adopted, showing the cluibi* be in a sound financial position, haying; a credit balance of £ll 12/11. Several? new members were elected, and tfc* prospects for the coming season look very promising for the U.B.C. Hbckejr Club. ■"■-■: y-Aj. ■-.
CRANFORD CLUB.
The annual meeting of the above club ' v was held last evening in the -St. Albans Young Men's Guild Hall. Mr S. Paiilk r ner, president of the club, occupied the . - chair, and there was an attendance of about forty members. In moving the -' 'adoption- of the annual report and accounts, the president complimented tlie members on the excellent position at-» t l tained by the club in the Canterbury -~ Hockey Association competitions. Bok ference was also made to the satisfac-, - tory state of the club's finances. The \ . accounts showed a cash balance .of £4 6/- with liabilities nil. Ten new mem- - _ bers were eleeted, and the election *of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows:-—President, Mr S. Faulkner (re-elected); vice-presidents, Messrs A. Lawrence and C.
