“PERFECTLY RIDICULOUS”
TREATMENT OF DISEASE “It ia perfectly ridiculous,” exclaimed Mr. W. Cassels- Brown at a Devonport Borough Council meeting last evening, when Mr. F. T. Eyre moved that the council siipport his plea that chiropractors should be permitted to treat patients at the Public Hospital. Mr. Eyre said lie had benefited from the application of chiropractic, and if a. child was sent to hospital with diphtheria, or other complaints requiring isolation, its parents could not have it treated by a chiropractor. Mr. T. Walsh: Chiropractors do rot profess to treat diphtheria. Mr. Eyre: Oh well, other diseases. Mr. E. H. Little: Is it related to Christian science? Mr. Cassels-Brown's amendment that the Devonport Council express its appreciation of tho manner in which the hospital is controlled and patients treated At*as darried.
