OTAHUHU CLUB FINALS CROXSON WINS CHAMPIONSHIP Playing consistent golf, in which his powerful driving was a feature. L. J. Croxson won the Otahuhu Golf Clubs championship for the third year ia succession by beating H. J. Levy in the final. 4 and 3. Croxson’s driving was especially good, and he got great length with his tee shots. Levy also put up a splendid fight. The junior championship final produced a very keen and exciting tussle between J. Logan and B. O. Heather. There was little between them, and the game went to the ISth. hole, where Logan won one up. PUPUKE CLUB In the semi-finals of the senior ; championship of the Pupuke Golf Club. I played on Satiirday. M. E. Thompson beat J. G. Mackenzie, one up at the 19th hole, and L. J. Minogue beat B. E Goldwater. two up. In the junior championship semifinals. L. G. Ansell beat S. R. Norris. 4 and 3-, and TV. Taylor beat C. FHopkins, two up. WAITEMATA LADIES' CLUB Following is the draw for the first round of the gold button match, to be played by members of the Waitemata Ladies’ Golf dub by next Friday;—Miss Macindoe v. The final of the Cambridge Club championship competitions were cernpleted on Saturday, when R. Swon the senior championship bv oefeating J. Banks by 7 up nnd 6 to P» a > over a 36-bole match. Alford’s was sound throughout, his drum* being long and straight and his putting almost faultless. This is the first tinythat this player has won the championship, while his opponent had won * four times previously. In the junior competitions L. # rice defeated J.
