A special meeting of the committee of the Dunedin Jockey Club this morn* ing decided to reduce the minimum weight conditions in the October, Taioma. Telegraph, and Clarendon handicaps from Sst to 7st 131 b. This will prevent them being considered higlieight handicaps, in which, under the recently altered Rules of Racing, apprentice# .cannot claim anjr allowances.
