DAFFODIL EXHIBITS
ROTORUA’S SPRING SHOW The 25th annual Spring Daffodil Show of St. Luke's Parish, Rotorua, will be held on September 17 at the Peerless Hall. The function was begun in 1903 as a social function at which friends could meet and compare their best spring blossoms. It has since become the most important show of its kind in Rotorua. There are a dozen different classes for varieties of daffodils and three single vase classes. Other spring Powers are provided for. There arc several novice classes and a children’s section. One feature of the show is the usual *u&hibit from the Government gardens. This has not a part in the competition.
