AIR CADETS KILLED
COLLISION IN MID-AIR AT PRETORIA PLANE SMASHED TO PIECES CAPETOWN, Saturday. Two airplanes piloted by Air Forc« cadets named Joubert and King collided at Pretoria at 7 a.m. today at a heigiht of 400 ft. Both machines crashed and the cadets were killed. One of the planes, an Avian, had one wing broken off and the other machine, the SES, was smashed to pieces. King’s father was killed in the 1914 rebellion at Bronkhorspruit.
