I.td-, for rope: Metters iN.Z.I, Ltd., for an enamel sink: and Messrs. Brinsley and Co., Ltd., and the Auckland Gas Company for a ga:stove and fittings. REMARKS IN VISITORS’ BOOK A continual stream of visitors pas.through the Hall o£ Industries every dav, nearly all of whom sign the Visitors’ Book. Such remarks as "Worthwhile” and ‘•Excellent” show the impression made on the minds of the visitors, some of whom come from overseas, while every part of New Zealand is represented in the address column. One visitor from Pennsylvania, V.S.A., wrote: "A great enterprise; good luck, X.Z.” A visitor from China wrote “O Suite Lu.” which is presumed to 'he appreciative because it follows such entrieas. "Quality and variety excellent, should be bigger.”, and "Good start, well advanced idea.” N.Z. FOOTWEAR ATTRACTIVE WINDOW DISPLAYS Commencing next week special window displays of boots and shotys mad' wholly in New Zealand will be organised bv S. Stone and Co., Ltd., boot and shoe retailers. Stone's branch shops in Newmarket, Karaugaiiape Road, Dominion Road and Devon port will also give special window dieplays. The shoes exhibited will be of every class and style and will demonstrate that footwear made in New Zealand are equal for wear, comfort and style to anything imported.

CANCER CAMPAIGN HELP BY MANUFACTURERS The Cancer Campaign Bund will ; benefit considerably by the effort of : the Auckland Manufacturers’ Association. Individual members have ' donated liberal samples of goods such as groceries, furniture, woollen goods and shoes, which will be sold by tender, the proceeds going to the Cancer Fund. The goods that, have been donated i will be exhibited on the First Floor of the Queen's Arcade. The Exhibition will be opened with due ceremony on Friday evening nest *4 T-5‘J. ike Queen's Arcade will be suitably decorated for the occasion with bunting and large slogans, such as "Say au revoir to your wages, but not goodbye,” “You boys and girls want work, so buy New Zealand-made,” "Practice i practical patriotism.” and "Keep your i self busy by keeping the other fellow busy.” TELLING THE STORY “BUY N.Z. MADE” CAMPAIGNS Following the lead of The Sun, many newspapers throughout New Zealand are publishing special “Buy New Zen ! land-made Goods” pages, and in some cases special supplements.
