TITIRANGI LADIES’ CLUB The final of the Titirangi Ladles' Golf i Club’s championship was played yester- ! day, Mrs. Hosking defeating Airs. Deigh- ! ton, 6 and 5. Mrs. Hosking played accurate golf and established a decisive lead early in the game. Mrs. Deighton, in particluar, was putting far below her usual form. Mrs. Hosking has now established a fine record by winning three championships m succession during the last few months. She has won the women’s championship at One Tree Hill, the Auckland women s open provincial championship and the Titirangi women's championship. In the junior championship, Miss AT. Cooke beat Airs. G. A. Taylor, 7 and 6. Aliss Cooke played very well through the fairways, and her all-round play was superior to that of her opponent. In a four-ball best-ball bogey match, Mrs. Johnston and Miss K. Horton returned a card of 5 up. Tho next best card was that of Airs. J. C. Finlay and Aliss K. Fouhy, all square. The semi-final of the captain’s 1 ropliy resulted as follows:—Aliss K. Ilorton beat Mrs. Banister, 5 and 3; Airs. Deighton beat Aliss Grierson at the 19th.
