There was a good attendance at the special meeting of the South Auckland Rugby League called to make the draws for the senior and junior knockouts. Air. Prendergast presided. The league approved of the reinstatements of S. Grooby and W. Smith, both of bluntly. A number of members were regraded: Xgaruawahia. TV. Tittleton. C. Hill. H. Morgan H. Hill. J. Fowlds, P. Alcßurnie. T. WallbanK. O. Saunders. W. Dare: Huntly. Geary and A. AlcDeal: Taupiri. C. Hill and J. Shaw. The secretary was instructed to communicate with the Auckland League to try to arrange for an Auckland representative team to visit South Auckland. As the Kia Ora Club has been unable to field a. team for several Saturdays. the club has disbanded, and permission was given the Kia Ora players who had previously played for Huntly io return to that club for the senior knockout.

The reinstatement of H. Alason was approved by the league, subject to his reinstatement reaching the secretary before the first game in which he selected to play. Three teams entered the senior knockout—Huntly, Hamilton, and Xgaruawahia. On September 13 Xgaruawahia is to play Hamilton at Xgaruawahia, and the following week the winner will play Huntly at the winning team’s home ground.
