TAUMARUNUI WINTER SHOW
ASSOCIATION’S ANNUAL MEETING From Our Own Correspondent TAUMARUNUI, Wednesday. Despite adverse conditions the Taumarunui Winter Show Association finished up its recent four-day fixture with a good credit cash balance, and an assets surplus of over £l6O, according to the report and balance sheet presented to the annual meeting, over which the president (Mr. S. Christmas) presided. The success of the wool section and expert lectures has resulted in a resolve to further extend this part of the show next year. Officers elected were:—Patron, Mr. F. Langstone, M.P: President, Mr. IT. R. Street: vice-presidents representative of the district: Messrs. S. Christmas, A. G. Riches, A. Goodwin. D. McXab, Joseph McLeod, L. Fisher, H. M. Beuck. J. F. Waldegrave. R. W. Dench, G. R. Thynne, E. Coogan, J. L. Robinson, A. W. King, J. Brown, C. Parker. J. Patterson, J. Langwell, W. Curtis, and J. L. Moyes; executive committee: The president, organiser, secretary and Mr. S. Christmas; organiser, Mr. D. McNab; treasurer. Mr. A. .T. Langmuir; auditor, Mr. W. Hughes; secretary, Mr. M. Sarah. A strong general committee was set up.
