ETTA COLE i FTER a reasonable apell, which should have a beneficial effect, Etta Cole is back at Epsom under the charge of A. J. Julian. Last season the daughter of Peterwah did not fulfil the promise of the previous season and although trained in the South and given a chance to show her ability on the Addington dirt track, the Aucklander could only pull out a second prize. With another year over her head Etta Cole should be more solid and under the able supervision of the Green Lane reinsman, who has had a great deal of success with square-gaiters, F. J. Docherty’s mare will have every chance to make good.
