STEAMER LOST
STRIKES REEF IN THICK FOG CREW RESCUED BY TUG Reed. Noon. CAPETOWN, Wed. The steamer Malmesbury, bound from the Cape, loaded with maize, struck a reef near Cape Columbine in a thick fog. A tug rescued the crew and the steamer was abandoned.
