“THE MARRIAGE PLAYGROUND” A moving picture whose scenes are laid in the leading fashionable res«»rts of Europe, but which has American characters as its principals, is now n‘ the Strand Theatre. It is “The Marriage Playground,” a Paramount production. based on the famous best-sell-ing novel, “The children.” by Edith Wharton. Lilyan Tashman and Huntley Gordon are the divorce-tangled parents. Mar Brian is their eldest daughter. Juditli. Co-featured with Miss Brian in tlib lending role is Fredric March. Six charming child actors carry the bulk of the supporting acting. A splendid supporting also being shown at the Strand.
Jack Oakie, Skeets Gallagher, and Leon Erroll officiate collectively as masters of ceremony in Paramount* all-star film party. ‘'Paramount on Parade,” which is now enjoying an extended run at the Prince Edward Theatre. Sydney. Thirty-nine Paramount stars and featured players arc taking part in the 20 entertaining Interludes in the mammoth picture.
