WOMAN STRUCK BY CAR

IDENTITY NOT CERTAIN A woman, believed to be a Mrs. Warner, was struck down by a small motor-car when she was crossing the street at the junction of Upper Symonds Street and Mount Eden Road at 11.20 p.m. yesterday. The w'oman was admitted to the Auckland Hospital suffering from severe shock and head injuries, and was in a semi-conscious condition. This morning she had regained consciousness, and her condition is considered satisfactory. The ear was driven by Mr. S. A. Urwin, of Avondale.
